Long <br />Division Dueaor <br />The Division has completed its technical review of the Las Animas County Amendment Application <br />for the Airport Pit (Permit M-83-039). The Division has found that the application meets the <br />requirements of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials <br />C.R.S. 34-32.5-1O1 e[. secy. and [he Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board's Construction Materials <br />Rules and Regulations. In accordance with Rule 1.4.5 (5), the Division is informing you that it is <br />recommending that [he application be approved by the Board at a Formal Public Hearing on the matter. <br />The Division has scheduled aPre-Hearing Conference regarding the Airport Pit amendment <br />application. This conference will be held in Room 318, 1313 Sherman St., Denver, Colorado on <br />January l8, 2000 starting at 10:30 a.m. Ms. Barbara Green has been appointed by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Boazd as Conference Officer. At the Conference, Ms. Green will propose a Draft Pre- <br />Hearing Order listing: <br />Party names, addresses and phone numbers <br />2. Issues to be discussed at the Formal Public Hearing <br />3. An outline of the agenda for the hearing, allowed times for presentations, cross examinations <br />by parties and closing statements <br />4. Each party's witnesses <br /> <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />5. Each party's exhibits or documents to be used as evidence. <br />
