Dept. of i~i3!yi~! Eese_~rOeS <br />Enclosed are a lease, a letter to Fremont County, and maps pertaining to a <br />requested change in the permit boundary of the Eight Mile Clay Mine. Accord- <br />ing to MLRB Rule 1.9, such change is allowable as a technical revision. <br />Production rates and methods, rate of surface disturbance, biological, <br />geological, meteorological, hydrologic, and edaphic considerations and reclama- <br />tion methods as described in the Mining Plan, Reclamation Plan, and various <br />technical exhibits of the permit all remain unchanged. Legal deSCriptions in <br />Exhibit A, and in the bond and permit, should be changed to read "9.9 acres <br />contained within an 80-acre (more or less) lease area described as the W1/2, <br />SW1/4 Section 4, T18S, R71W, 6th PM." <br />Disposition of this matter at the Board's earliest convenience is appreciated. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />Sincerely, <br />Thomas A.
