Box 21649 <br />Denver, Colorado 80221 <br />Re: Rocking WP Pit (WP) Amendment, Permit No. 74-15 <br />Dear Mr. Graham: <br />We have reviewed the above referenced amendment for adequacy with the <br />Mineral's Law and promulgated rules and regulations. During our review, a <br />number of comments arose which are listed below. We have broken our comments <br />under the various exhibit headings for ease of reference. <br />As specified in an earlier correspondence, the consideration of this amendment <br />has been scheduled before the Board at their February 27-28, 1985 meeting. To <br />allow for review time of your responses to the Division's concerns, please <br />respond to the following prior to February 20, 1985. <br />Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />Where will mining activities commence? <br />What direction will mining progress? <br />How deep will mining occur? <br />To what depth will topsoil be salvaged? <br />What is tiie anticipated life of mining in this phase? <br />Please submit a new mining plan depicting the location of the dewate~ring <br />trench. Is this trench included in the acreage being permitted? If not, <br />please specify the amount of acres and add the acreage to the permitted amount. <br />Please specify the distance in feet that this operation will be front the bank <br />full stages of the St. Vrain Creek.
