MANAGEMENT <br />The DMG's letter dated July 26, 2001 transmitted its adequacy comments regarding the <br />referenced permit revision. Following are Bowie Resources Limited's responses to the <br />DMG's comments and concerns: <br />Subsidence <br />A new subsidence section was added to Maps 27 and 27a to show the projected <br />subsidence profile relative to Terror Creek and the most westerly corner of <br />proposed longwall panel W D3. <br />2. The Geologic Hazards Map (Map 6) was reviewed to determine if the cliffs in the <br />vicinity of the northwest corner of panel W D3 were in a rockfall hazard area. <br />There a no geologic hazards in the vicinity of the northwest corner of panel WD3. <br />Hydrology <br />3. Completion details for gob vent borehole WD1-C will be provided to the DMG <br />when they are available. <br />4. Map 10 and 11, Upper and Lower Perched Water Bearing Zones respectively <br />were updated by PR-04 early this year based on the 2000 drilling program. <br />There are no new data available from the recently initiated 2001 drilling program. <br />
