Walther <br />Ezecutive Director <br />Ronald W, Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />On November 10, 2004, the Division ofMinerals and Geology (Division) received your request to amend <br />the Gold Basin Mine, Permit No. M-1992-045. The amendment application was submitted in response to <br />the Division's inspection of September 27, 2004 that idenfified problems with the permit azea greater than <br />the approved 3 acres in size and the creation of a small waste pile. On November 17, 2004 the Division <br />deemed the application incomplete for purposes of filing. Please see attached letter for further <br />clarification. <br />The Division believes that the submittal and approval of the amendment application will ultimately <br />address the concerns noted during the Division's inspection. Please submit a complete amendment <br />application to the Division for the Gold Basin Mine on or before Mazch 1, 2005.
