The revision was submitted by Energy Fuels Mining Company. All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The operator is proposing to modify the revegetation standazds regazding the shrub density at the mine. Shrubs aze not a <br />significant component of the vegetation on the reclaimed area. Limited establishment of shrubs over the revegetation period <br />should not negatively impact the implementation of the post-mining land use. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 3 miles South of Trinidad, Colorado. The permit azea <br />is further described as follows: <br />T33S, R63W, SWl/4 of Section 31; T33S, R64W, all of Section 36 except portions of the Wl/2 WI/2; T34S, R63W, all of <br />Section 6 and Nl/2 NEl/4, NEl/4 NW I/4 of Section 7; <br />T34S, R64W, El/2 of Section 1 of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land aze shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Trinidad East, & Starkville <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Las Animas County <br />Courthouse, 200 East First Street, Room 104, Trinidad, CO 81082, and at the Division office. For additional information or to <br />provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. th order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be <br />submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
