Sprague <br />The petition of Neil C. and Arlin M. Sprague for a Special Review ~ f a proposed <br />rock quarry in the FA-1 Farming zone, upon the property described o Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto, has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners f the County <br />of Larimer. The Larimer County Planning Commission on Febru y 26, 1986 <br />recommended conditional approval of the proposed use. <br />On March 24, 1986 in the County Board Hearing Room of the La imer County <br />Courthouse, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Board of County Commissioners conducted a <br />public hearing on the Special Review. The Board of County Commissioners, having heard <br />the testimony and evidence adduced at said hearing and having considered nd carefully <br />weighed the same, now makes the following findings: <br />1. The Special Review request for a rock quarry upon the grope ty described <br />on Exhibit "A" was advertised in a local newspaper of general circulation a required by <br />law, and all procedural requirements have been met. The County Planning Engineering <br />and Health Departments have made certain comments and recommendatio s concerning <br />this proposal, which comments and recommendations are contained in th record and <br />transcripts of this matter. <br />2. The general characteristics of the property are as follows: <br />a. Location: NE 1/4 N W 1/4 35-6-70; we t of County <br />Road 27, 3/4 mile north of ounty Road <br />24H <br />b. Area: 9 acres of a 40 acre site <br />c. Existing land use: Rock quarry I <br />
