Upon review of the report submitted by the Soil Conservation Service, xe agree that no topsoil should be mined, and that the topsoil should be saved for use in reclamation. 2. Atypical depth to which the topsoil xould be salvaged would be ± 12". 3. I visted with the Soil Conservation on planting the topsoil stockpiles, and they have no objections to using either of the proposed plans. 4, The estimated life of the mining operation is 15 to 20 years. $. The estimated depth of the pit area would be ± 20QQ'. 6. The only time thzt there is xater in the east side of the proposed pit, is during the late summer months when canal xater is released into the general area and alloxed to dissipate into the ground for purpose of recharging the well xater system, The water does not remain on the surface long after the inlet soruce is curtailed. 7.
