Jones Constru ction is a reclamation contracting company with <br />' considerable experience in min ed land reclamation working for both mining <br /> companies and State and Federal government agencies. Rental costs are listed <br />' below. <br />' Caterpillar D-7 dozer with U and S type blades costs S90/hour. <br />International Scraper with capacity of 23 yd3 costs $95/hour. <br />' Rubber tired tractor for reclamation costs b40/hour. <br />Water truck costs of 550/hour. <br />A Cat 14G Motor grader costs S70/hour. <br />' A Cat 950E equivalent loader with a capacity of 3 yd3 costs $45/hour. <br />A 12 yd3 dump truck costs $50/hour. <br />' Seed prices are from Arkansas Valley Seed Company. Chemical costs are from Van <br />t Waters and Rogers. Chemical shipping costs are from Bill Clark Truck Line, Inc. <br />Bonding costs assume reclamation in accordance with the procedures outlined <br />' in Exhibit E Reclamation Plan. The cost breakdown is presented on a cost per acre <br />basis. The project has been divided into two phases. Phase 1 includES disturbance <br />' within the first three years of operations. Phase 2 includes worst case life- <br />of-mine disturbance costs. Although some concurrent reclamation is expected, <br />' neither phase assumes concurrent reclamation of the facilities as mining or <br />construction within each facility is completed. The Phase 1 presented is based <br />' on BMR's current projections for the sequence of operations at the San Luis <br />Project. <br />' Phase 1 bonding costs for the San Luis Project are S 2,052,000. Phase 2 <br /> bonding costs are $ 3,300,300.
