r~ ~ WRIGHT ENC~1/EERING
~ BUENA VISTA, COLORADO 81211
999
June 19, 1984
Mined Land Reclamation Division,
423 Centennial Building,
1313 Sherman Street,
Denver, Colorado 80203
P. O. Box 1846
Telephone 303 - 395-6660
RE: PRIDEMORE CONSTRUCTION, INC,-"JESSE LEE OPERATION",
File No. M-84-043
Attention: Mr. Mark S. Loye,
Senior Reclamation Specialist.
Dear Mr. Loye:
Please refer to your letter of June 12, 1984, relative to the
above reference.
Each item will be answered in the same sequence as asked.
Mr. Randell A. Champion the only adjacent land owner was advised
by certified mail on June 18, 1984, of the proposed operation
of Pridemore Construction, Inc. A certificated receipt is attached.
Exhibit B.
6. The depth of the water to be encountered in the pit is un-
known, but it is estimated to be near the surface due to local
springs. This water will be used to screening-washing operation,
and then discharged to the settling ponds, with no direct dis-
charge into the Arkansas River.
9. Analysis indicates approximately 33% of the total excavated
material is in excess of 1'~-inch. All this material will be
returned for slope protection, or 33% of all excavation will be
used for slope protection, which is more than a sufficient quantity
to protect the slope from the existing ground level to below the
stable water level in the ponds. Enclosed are four photographer
taken on finished Mesa Antero Reservoir which the same size of
materials was utilized.
