The following comments and answers to the adequacy review are found below:
I) Exhibits "A", `B", & "C"- No Comment.
II) Exhibit "D° Mining Plan
A} The Blue Dashed Line shown on all the maps submitted depicting the Special
Use Pemit Boundary (SUP) is indeed the same as the Boundary depicting the
112 c Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DBMS) Permit Boundary. It
was a mistake on the drawings that should have been corrected. However it is the
same and the operator commits to this as the official 112c Boundary.
B) As you apply point out the total phased acres add up to 164 acres leaving
16 acres unaccounted for in the Pemritted area Enclosed is a revised Mining Plan
Map, which now shows the areas, not included before on the original maps.
Please see the revised Mining Plan Map that now shows the areas in question
crosshatch and added to the phased area total acreage in the Estimated Mining
Timetable. The areas shown will be used for stockpiles or haul roads to facilitate
miring and transportation.
C) This mine site is projected to be in operation until the year 2040, in
the futwe it might be advantageous to consider using portable overland
conveyors to transport the materials to the process azea. The conveyors that
would be utilized do not need powed in place concrete foundations therefore no
extra cost to remove them should be related to the reclamation.
D) Item 6.4.4 (b) Exhibit "D" states that "all earth moving will be done
with equipmenti suitable for this type of operation including the following types:
crawler dozer, wheel loaders, earthmoving scrapers, excavator, dragline, and haul
tracks of various sizes up to and including units with a 20 ton capacity." The
dragline is only' one option that could be used to strip the overbwden if is ever
needed, this would only occw if the overbwden seam became very thick which is
unlikely on this site. There is no need excavate any deeper than 18 to 20 feet
