Following are the responses to <br />the Technical Adequacy Review, which is formatted in the same numerical order as your <br />letter. <br />1. The asphalt plant is a permanent structure. After reclamation, the plant will be <br />demolished. <br />2. A backfilled slope cross section has been added to Exhibit F. In addition, inert <br />materials used for backfill will be in accordance with Rule 1.1.1(20) which will <br />include earth, sand; gravel, rock, concrete which has been in a hardened state for <br />at least sixty days, masonry, asphalt paving fragments and other inert solids. <br />3. The maximum amount of shoreline, which will be left exposed prior to <br />~ backfilling, will be no more than 1,500 feet. <br />Alm ~ 4. New Exhibit C and F Maps have been submitted. These maps have been adjusted <br />to accurately depict the location of fencing, and the actual size of Rocky Road. <br />5. Attached, please find an analysis of the hydrological concerns as presented by <br />Tom Shreiner in his memo to the DMG. The attached reports from Dana Moore <br />and Kyle Whitaker address Mr. Shreiners comments. <br />6. The construction of the liner will be in conformance with the State Engineer <br />Guidelines for Lining Criteria for Gravel Pits, July 99. In addition, a typical <br />reclaimed slope cross section is shown on Exh~it F.
