The following seed mix will be used to seed the topsoil stockpiles, if left in place <br />t/ more than one growing season. This is in accordance with Rule 6.4.5(2). <br />Crested Wheatgrass (Agropyron desertorum) 60% <br />Perennial Rygrass (Lolium perenne) 40% <br />The previous submitted seed mix has been reconsidered in light of the need to <br />establish a diverse, effective and long-lasting vegetative cover that is capable of <br />self-regeneration without continued dependence on irrigation, soil amendments or <br />fertilizer. The seed mix is as follows: <br />/ Western Wheatgrass 40% 16 PLS/ACRE <br />y~ Reed Canary Grass 10% 4.5 PLS/ACRE <br />` • <br />X''~cip Covington Blue Grama 30% 9 PLS/ACRE <br />Green Needlegrass 10% 10 PLS/ACRE <br />Sweetclover 10% 5 PLS/ACRE <br />9. No groundwater will be exposed without approval of the Substitute Supply Plan <br />~/ by the Office of the State Engineer. In the event that accidental exposure of <br />groundwater occurs, the operation will commit to backfilling [he exposed water to <br />2' above the water [able. In addition, notification to the Of&ce of the State <br />Engineer and DMG will occur immediately. <br />10. A detailed engineering geoteclutical stability analysis was submitted and reviewed <br />/ by the DMG. The review of the analysis by the DMG is currently being <br />~,..~ addressed by the engineer who performed the analysis.
