INTRODUCTION: <br />The proposed operation will be a "dry alluvial" operation and will provide sand, gravel, and <br />borrow materials for the surrounding area. The permit area is 47.75 acres in size, whereas no <br />more than 30 acres will be disturbed at any one time. Mining depth will range from 10 to 18 <br />feet. The site will be dry mined and no dewatering will take place. The operator will limit the <br />excavation to at least two (2) feet above the groundwater surface at all times. The site will be <br />reclaimed to achieve apost-mining land use of rangeland.
