The current plans are to commence gravel operations as soon
as permits are received and to continue Por as long as the supply
lasts. Based on our historic useage plus a Factor Por growth,
our requirements should not exceed 15000 cubic yards per year in
the foreseeable future. At this rate the property shoud provide
Por our needs Por at least 10 years.
2. The surface oP the proposed site was used as stockpile area
Por a gravel mining operation by a previous owner and is margin-
ally suitable for reclamation purposes, it will probably be
stockpiled to be used as road gravel or Pill material. The under
lying 8" to 12" oP material will be stickpiled on the Nest end oP
the site and used to reclaim the area prior to seeding. This top
soil will be seeded with Rye and native grasses to stabilize it
until it is needed Por reclamaiton purposes. The proposed site
is isolated Prom the river and the drainage ditch by dikes and no
storm water or process water will leave the property across the
surface. Stock pile areas for top soil and overburden are locat-
ed on the Map Exhibit E.
3. The overburden consists of silt, dirty sands and gravel
which overlay the area to a depth oP approximately three Peet.
These materials are usable as Pill material and will be removed
~~
as market conditions allow.
5
