4. The sand deposit appears to be fifty or more Peet in depth,
however it may not be practical to recover the lower levels.
Typically a dragline will produce to about 20 to 22 Peet and our
drag scraper has operated to about 35 Peet in depth. Economics
will dictate the extent to which the deposit can be recovered.
5. At this time we plan to stockpile the sand with a dragline,
working Prom Bast to West, let it drain in place and truck it tc
our Ready-Nix Plant Por processing. We anticipate no shops,
office or buildings on site. We will use existing roads Por
access and transportation.
6. -The size oP the pond might ultimately be 1200 Peet by 300
feet but we plan to excavate only a small portion of that each
year as we use the material. We do not plan to have extensive
stock piles on site, as we transport the material as soon as it
drains.
7. The access road is on a deeded parcel 40 Peet wide and 1500
Peet long which is currently being used as access to care Por
livestock. The road is on private property and is currently
graveled and suitable Por use. The private road intersects with
Morgan County Road 20. No upgrades or improvements are required.
8. No water will be used in processing the sand.
9. The mining will be conducted as a wet pit within the water
table, but there will be no surface connection to the South
Platte or streams tributary to it. Any sedimentation will be
confined to the pit. Storm waters are contained by dikes.
6
