This <br />construction includes: 1) stabilization of the slopes above, and to the west <br />of, the O1 and 112 portals, 2) construction of retaining walls above all the <br />portals, 3) reconstruction of the diversion ditch, 4) construction of a <br />concrete catch basin in the gully between portals ~I1 and 112, 5) installation <br />• of a 24 inch culvert to drain water away from the landslide area, 6) <br />installation of a 30 inch culvert to drain water from the catch basin to the,/ <br />North Fork of the Gunnison River, 7) revegetating the slopes above portals U1 <br />and U2, B) enlarging the parking lot; and 9) constructing a sediment pond.-~ <br />The minor modification does not include mining and associated coal production <br />at the site. <br />I approve the proposed minor modification with the attached stipulations. <br />These stipulations include those of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board.
