Coal Processing Waste an Non-Coal Processing Waste - Rules 2.05.3(8), <br />~r~~~rr <br />(Add the following on page 28) <br />No coal processing will be conducted at the Twin Pines No. 2 mine site. <br />Therefore, no coal processing waste or non-coal processing waste will be <br />dispo~~d of at the mine site. (See page 86 of the permit application.) <br />The application is in compliance with the requirements of this section of the <br />Regulations. <br />XVI. Roads - Rules 2.05.3(3) and 4.03) <br />(Add the following as paragraph 3 on page 30) <br />The existing Fremont County road will be improved in accordance with County <br />standards. The driving surface will be expanded to 20 feet in width by <br />excavating and regrading the uphill cut slope. No redisturbance will occur on <br />the embankment fill slope downslope fran the existing road, adjoining Lewis <br />Gulch. Design details are presented on Drawing No. TP4 of the permit <br />application. <br />XVIII. 8ackfillinq and Grading -Rules 2.05.3(6)(b), 2.05.3(9 <br />(Add the following as paragraphs 2 and 3 on page 31) <br />Underground development waste will be disposed of in a waste pile near the <br />northern terminus of the previously disturbed surface facilities area. Waste <br />will be placed in maximwn 4 foot thick lifts and compacted by normal equipment <br />traffic. Underdrains constructed of perforated t he in a gravel drain will be <br />installed to assure prevention of moisture invasion from beneath the pile. <br />The completed waste pile will be graded to a final facial slope of 2:1 <br />(horizontal to vertical), with a maximum capacity of 89,000 cubic yards. <br />Underground development waste will be backstowed within the underground <br />workings whenever possible. <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
