Sigtts and markers posted. The marker sign was immediately posted on 8-29-06 after receiving
your notification on 8-28-06. It is on a tree at the entrance to the property. We have taken the enclosed
photo for you.
The boundary markers continue to be properly located. There are and have been flats and posts on them
to make them more visible, but they are up in the trees, so that is probably why you could not locate them.
There are photo's enclosed, with a sketch showing locations of th;, ;;hoto's.
2. Stormwater rzmoff not adequately controlled, ;':d sediment pond not maintained to capacity. We
had just had a major run on Bridal Veil Creek when you arrived. It had washed gully's in our reclaimed
banks. The water came out of the bank above the Bridal Veil Pit on USFS property, because they have not
controlled the creek within the City of Ouray on their property, as City Code requires. We have repaired
the flood damage caused by the flood waters on the banks, cleaned the channel and repaired the culverts
that were damaged by flooding, and as the water in the sediment pond is settling, we are trying to clean it
out. See photo's enclosed.
We would like to request a 2 month, extension on the correction date on cleaning the sediment pond,
because it is too wet to get into. It has been a very wet summer, and we have succeeded in cleaning what
we could reach from the banks, but have been unsuccessful in a full and thorough cleaning. If we could
have a 2 month extension, I feel that we could thoroughly clean the sediment pond to full capacity.
Thank you for your understanding!
Sincerely,
Lynn Olin
Bridal Veil Construction LLC
~ p,n
`,~ ~ 1
" ~ G~
.ti~u~~~~
~~V~
.~
