MINE LOCATION: One mile south of Colorado Highway 66, east of Weld County
Road 13 (inspection of areas existing prior to July, 1985 amendment) .

RECLAMATION ASSESSMENT:
1 . Grading: Most pond slopes are 3H: 1V or better. Some areas
have eroded to steeper gradients. Submerged shore
areas seem to be free of vertical drops.
2. Topsoil : Redistributed on most bank areas.
3. Stabilization: The operator is using concrete to stabilize
slopes. Some areas are eroded to vertical drops
to water line.
4. Revegetation: Mostly annuals along lakes.
5. Success-Treated Areas: See above.
6. Failure-Treated Areas: See above.
7. Other Areas
Requiring Treatment: Plant, stockpile- and road areas remain for future
use.
8. Other Problems: Any concrete used to stabilize slopes should be
free of any metal or rebar and properly buried.
