BID ANNOUNCEMENT Red Arrow Bond Forfeiture Project PKA-15-1273 Solicitation Number— The State of Colorado, Division of Reclamation, Mining &Safety, is seeking bids for the Red Arrow Bond Forfeiture Project which is located on the East Mancos River, east of the Red Arrow Dome in Montezuma County, CO - approximately ten miles to the East/ North East of Mancos, CO. Elevations range from 9,150 to 9,400 feet above sea level. The project work will consist of three horizontal mine safety closures with bat access, stream channel reconstruction, demolition and removal of several structures, regrading areas adjacent to the portals, and debris removal. The Pre Bid will involve driving on rough roads and hiking at elevations around 9,000 feet above sea level. Please bring the following to the Pre-Bid Meeting: • 4WD High Clearance vehicle 0 Sturdy Hiking Shoes • Food/Water 0 Rain Clothing • Sunscreen/ Insect Repellent To receive a set of bidding documents, interested Contractors should go to the Vendor Self Serve (VSS) website at http://www.colorado.-gov/vss Please Log In - (we do strongly encourage you to Register). Go to the "Solicitations"tab. There is a white search box near the top of the page named "Keyword Search". You may either enter/search the name of the project or enter the Solicitation Number. When the project comes up after the search, click on the "Details"tab. The Solicitation page will appear. Click on the grey colored "Attachments"tab. The Bid Invitation/Solicitation document is located here. You may either review or print the PDF's. (Bid documents are now uploaded in multiple PDF's). There is a box titled "Response Options" located on the right side of the page—this is where you submit your on-line Bid. All contractors are strongly encouraged to submit all Bids through the VSS "Respond Online" option. If you are unable to access the VSS website, you may complete the bottom half of this memo and either mail, e-mail or fax it to the address or fax number below. (Please keep in mind that this option will be eliminated in the near future). There is no charge for bid documents. Please Note: We are no longer able to email the Bid documents.
