RE: Red Arrow Bond Forfeiture Project,
Enclosed is a brief description and Bid Schedule for the Red Arrow Bond Forfeiture
Project.
PROJECT LOCATION
The project is located approximately ten miles to the East/ North East of Mancos, CO with
elevations ranging from 9,150 to 9,400 feet above sea level. Please see the attached maps.
WORK SUMMARY
The Red Arrow Project is located on the East Mancos River, east of the Red Arrow Dome in
Montezuma County, Colorado. The project work will consist of three horizontal mine safety
closures with bat access, stream channel reconstruction, demolition and removal of several
structures, regrading areas adjacent to the portals, and debris removal.
PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE SHOWING
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7,
2014. The meeting will start at Boyle Park/ Mancos Wayside Park. Please see attached map.

From Durango
- Take US Highway 160 west towards Mancos, CO
- Left on N Main Street
- Destination East of Mancos Town Government Building on the corner of N Main St. and E
Grand Ave.
From Dolores, CO
- Take CO State Highway 184 south towards Mancos, CO
- At stoplight, continue straight on N Main St.
- Destination East of Mancos Town Government Building on the corner of N Main St. and E
Grand Ave.
From Cortez, CO
- Take US Highway 160 east towards Mancos, CO
- Right on N Main Street
- Destination East of Mancos Town Government Building on the corner of N Main St. and E
