As required by Rule 1.6.2, please submit proof of the notice to all owners of record of surface and <br /> mineral rights of the affected land and the owners of record of all land surface within 200 feet of the <br /> boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice may be return receipts of a Certified Mailing or by proof of <br /> personal service. <br /> Response: <br /> See the attached copies of the post office receipts showing that notices were sent to the <br /> USDA Forest service, the owners of the mineral rights of the affected land(Jeff Schimel <br /> and Jim Reed)and to the property owners to the South of the proposed dig sites. <br /> Although the notice to the nearby property owner has been sent we have not yet received <br /> the certified mail receipt, but we will forward that to your office as soon as we obtain it. <br /> 3. To date,the Division has received comments from the Office of Archaeology and Historical <br /> Preservation, Division of Water Resources, and Colorado Parks&Wildlife regarding the application. The <br /> letters are attached for your review. Please acknowledge and address any comments noted in the letters <br /> and make changes to the application as necessary. <br />
