Within Exhibit B,the Applicant provided a narrative description for each site regarding the vegetation <br /> and soils within the proposed permit boundary.The Division requests you submit a Custom Soil Report <br /> containing a soil map and applicable soil unit description printouts for the mapped soil types of the <br /> proposed operation. Please note, a Soil Report can be obtained from <br /> https:Hwebsoilsurvey.sc.egov.usda.gov/for free. Please delineate the permit boundary on the soil map <br /> if you prepare a larger Area of Interest(AOI) in the custom report. <br /> Response: <br /> We completed the soil report and map.We also added the permit boundaries to the <br /> map as you have requested.The soil maps and reports for each of the proposed dig sites <br /> are attached to this response letter. <br /> S. Within Exhibit B,the Applicant states there are no permanent man-made structures within 200 feet <br /> of the proposed permit boundary, however, after review of the submitted maps, it appears USFS Road <br /> 754 and USFS Road 754A are within 200 feet of the permit boundary.Additionally,there may also be a <br /> fence line along the Forest Service boundary located south of the proposed operation. Please revise <br /> Exhibit B to identify all permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the permit boundary as <br /> required by Rule 6.3.2(b). <br /> Response: <br /> We have revised Exhibit B 6.3.2 (b), which now identifies USFS roads 754 and 754A as <br /> within 200 feet of the permit boundary.Additionally, we identified the private property <br /> fence,which is also less than 200 feet of the proposed access routes. <br /> EXHIBIT C-Mining Plan (Rule 6.3.3) <br /> 6. Within Exhibit C, under the heading 6.3.3(1)(c),the Applicant discusses overburden will be stockpiled <br /> near the excavations, but growth media (topsoil)will not be salvaged from the area where overburden <br />
