Please discuss what means of de-compaction (ripping,tilling, discing, raking,etc.)will <br /> be implemented prior to re-seeding the disturbed area where the overburden stockpiles are located. <br /> Response: <br /> To de-compact the soil prior to re-seeding the disturbed areas where overburden <br /> stockpiles were located, all the area to be seeded will be raked with the backhoe bucket <br /> to break up the soil and provide small furrows for trapping and holding seed and water. <br /> We will also hand-rake areas that need further de-compaction. We have revised Exhibit <br /> C, 6.3.3 (1) (c) accordingly. <br /> 7. Within Exhibit C, under the heading 6.3.3(1)(d),the Applicant states the maximum depth will not <br /> exceed 30 feet, however, elsewhere in the application the Applicant states the maximum depth is 20 <br /> feet.
