Rev. Stat. § 24-72-202(6) and (7), respectively, that are in the custody and <br /> control of DRMS, its divisions, departments, etc. This request is pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § <br /> 24-72-203(1) and 24-72-205(1). <br /> Definitions <br /> 1. "Reservoir Complex"refers to the Everist Reservoir Complex Project, which is a group <br /> of gravel pits mined by L.G. Everist, Inc. and currently being used or converted to use by <br /> the City of Aurora/Aurora Water as a water storage facility. The Reservoir Complex is <br /> located just south of Weld County Road 18, between the South Platte River and Little <br /> Dry Creek. <br /> Requests <br /> 1. All permits currently active for the Reservoir Complex issued by the Division of <br /> Reclamation Mining and Safety. <br /> 2. All requirements and conditions of such permits imposed on the permit holder if the same <br /> is not otherwise included in the above request. <br /> 3. All correspondence, complains, studies, analysis, etc. concerning the existence or non- <br /> existence of impact on the South Platte River hydrology, including the floodplain, caused <br /> by the Reservoir Complex. <br /> It is the public policy of Colorado that all public records shall be open for inspection by <br /> any person at reasonable times, except as provided in part 2 of the statute. The Open records act <br /> creates a general presumption in favor of public access to government documents, exceptions to <br /> the act must be narrowly construed, and an agreement by a governmental entity that information <br /> in public records will remain confidential is insufficient to transform a public record into a <br />
