Vehicular traffic for the SGVLF is
currently not occurring over the liner system and there is a potential for off-liner impact."
The design for construction of the SGVLF is described in Amendment 10 to the Cresson Project
Permit. This design provides detail on the phased construction of the facility, additionally it
allows for slight variations from the design drawings as a result of a number of different factors
including climatic conditions, mine sequencing, contractor availability and other related factors.
In TR72 DRMS approved the haulage of spent ore over unlined roads for a total distance of
9,200 ft. This TR also outlined a spill response plan and a decontamination plan to ensure this
activity posed a minimal risk to the environment.
