Cresson Project; — Request for Technical Revision ("TR -76") two pipelines Arequa Gulch
Absorption, Desorption, Recover (AGADR) to Squaw Gulch ADR (SGADR)
Dear Mr. Cazier:
CC&V proposes Technical Revision No. 76 ("TR -76") to Amendment No. 10 of Permit M-
1980-244 ("AM10") to move the location of two pipelines — barren and fresh water from the
AGADR to SGADR. These pipes are described in Section 7.2.4 in the February 2012 Cripple
Creek and Victor Gold Mining Company Cresson Project Mine Life Extension 2 Permit M-
1980-244. 7.2.4 reads:
Two pipelines will be constructed from the AGADR to the SGADR to transfer fresh
water and barren solution from the AGADR as needed. The barren pipeline will be 24 -
inches in diameter and will be double -walled when outside of lined containment. The
fresh water line will be 12 -inches in diameter.
The proposed routes of the pipelines have been updated. This is shown on the attached revision
6 of drawing C-3. Pipe sizes are now 14" for the barren and 10-12" for the fresh water. Note:
The waterline is now coming off the crusher water line as opposed to the AGADR.
CC&V is planning to construct the in the 4rd Quarter of 2015 following approval of this TR by
the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ("DRMS") and appropriate annrovals
from Teller County.
