Each of the twelve
items from your review are below with my response in BOLD:
1) The map submitted for the Soil and Vegetation Map does not list the types of present
vegetation covering the proposed affected land. Please submit a Soil and Vegetation Map
labeling the type of present vegetation covering the affected lands.
REVISED(added vegetation note)AND EMAILED ON 01/09/15
2) Please have the maps signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer,or other
qualified person as required by Rule 6.2.1(2)(b)
SIGNED AND EMAILED ON 01/09/15
3) The Division understands that the access road is within the permit boundary. If this
statement is true please, identify the access road as being within the permit boundary on
the Mining Plan Map.
The Mining Map has been split into two sheets to clarify that the access road is
within the permit boundary.
4) Part a: The Division would request that the Operator/Applicant commit to seeding any
topsoil stockpile that will remain in one location for longer than a growing season.
REVISED AND EMAILED ON 01/09/15
5) Part e and Part e ii: Please remove or clarify the statement about a 23 acres floating
bond. The Division understands that the road will be part of the permit boundary and the
affected area, approximately 16.02 acres. It appears that Phase 1 is the largest mining
phase containing approximately 15.8 acres. The Division understands that the largest
amount of acreage to be disturbed at any one time will be the access road plus the largest
phase, which result in acreage of approximately 32 acres. Please clarity both Part 3 and
Part 3 II of the permit.
REVISED AND EMAILED ON 01/09/15
file(LoneTreeResponse.odt)
