Mike Boulay -4- August 27, 2013 <br />Cameo Borrow Area #2 and Coal Gulch -1.4 acres for Phase I, II & III release; 2.1 <br />acres for Phase II & III release and 1.8 acres for Phase I release. <br />The 1.4 acres at Coal Gulch, as approved with PR -5 in August 2012, will remain as a <br />permanent feature. (Area #17 on Bond Release Map-Ph I, II & 111) <br />5.3 acres were reclaimed and seeded in April 2002. However, 1.8 acres were re- <br />disturbed, reclaimed and seeded with the backfilling of Pond 11 in October 2012. <br />Therefore, only 2.1 acres at CBA #2 will be included in Phase II & III bond release <br />application. Phase I bond release on these acres was approved in August 2003 with SL- <br />2. (Area #16 on Bond Release Map - Ph II & 111) <br />1.8 acres were reclaimed and seeded in October 2012 during the removal of Pond 11. <br />(Area #18 on Bond Release Map - Ph 1) <br />RS North Portal Mine Facilities & Stockpile Area -1.7 acres for Phase I, II and III <br />release; 21.1 acres for Phase II & III release and 2.5 acres for Phase I release. <br />1.4 acres at the North Portal Diversion Ditch and 0.3 acres at Topsoil Pile #2 will remain <br />as permanent features as approved with PR -5 in August 2012. (Area #20 on Bond <br />Release Map - Ph 1, II & III) <br />24.1 acres at the North Portal were reclaimed and seeded in November 2002. However, <br />approximately 3.0 acres were re- disturbed and re- seeded during the reclamation of the <br />North Portal sedimentation control features, therefore, only 21.1 acres will be included in <br />this bond release application. Phase I bond release on these acres was approved in <br />August 2003 with SL -2. (Area #19 on Bond Release Map - Ph II & III) <br />2 acres, Pond 13 and the flume at the end of the North Portal Upper Diversion Ditch, <br />were reclaimed and seeded in October 2012 and 0.5 acre at Substation G was reclaimed <br />and seeded in September 2008. (Area #21 on Bond Release Map - Ph 1) <br />Substation B - 0.3 acres for Phase II & III release. <br />0.3 acres at Substation B were reclaimed and seed in November 2002. Phase I bond <br />release on these acres was approved in August 2003 with SL -2. (Area #22 on Bond <br />Release Map) <br />Coal Creek Realignment - 0.8 acres for Phase I, II & III release. <br />The disturbed acres, 0.8 acres, associated with the previously approved realignment of <br />Coal Creek were approved as permanent features in August 2012 with PR -5. (Area #23 <br />on Bond Release Map - Ph I, II & III) <br />Ponds 6 and 10 - 2.4 acres for Phase I release. <br />2.4 acres at Ponds 6 & 10 (Sediment Ponds associated with CRDA #1 & #2) were <br />reclaimed and seeded in October 2012. (Area # 24 on Bond Release Map - Ph 1) <br />Ponds 8 and 9 - 0.9 acres for Phase I release. <br />0.5 acres at Pond 8 was reclaimed and seeded in October 2011 and 0.4 acres at Pond 9 <br />was reclaimed and seeded in April 2013. (Area #25 on Bond Release Map - Ph 1) <br />Undisturbed Areas - 2147 acres for Phase III release. <br />There are 2147 acres being submitted in this application for a Phase III release. These <br />acres have no surface disturbance associated with them, but have been affected by <br />underground mining. <br />The underground mine workings at the Roadside North and South Portals were designed <br />to prevent subsidence damage to the following facilities and structures above the mine: <br />
