Contractor
is processing soil to near optimum moisture content at the new gob pile location and
trucking it up to the road. I took several tests within the staked limits of the roadway
and two tests outside the new roadway staking to the south.
While on -site, I observed the contractor placing fill in 8 -12" lifts and compact with a
CAT CP -323C sheepsfoot compactor. I also observed water truck drive over
compacted fill with no observable deflection pumping.
I notified Seth Tribble of test results on -site. Scheduled to return on Thursday
11/8/12 at 10:00am.
CLIENT REP INITIAL HERE
ARRIVAL TIME 1030a DEPARTURE TIME 200p TRAVEL 2 HR.
