Colowyo C1981 -019: 2011 Annual Reclamation Report ReviewAugust 16, 2013
8. The totals that the Division can discern from the Annual Reclamation Report Map Exhibit 5A do not
agree with the totals shown on Colowyo's Figure 3 -1. CCC needs to clarify these totals.
Location number of acres of vegetation planted during 2011, including any augmented seeding or cultural
practices. It appears from Exhibit 5A that:
98.1 acres ("P016)
34.8 acres (EP056)
46.1 acres (ST001)
179.0 acres were seeded in 2011
It does not appear that any areas previously seeded were interseeded or had other cultural inputs in 2011.
It is also uncertain from Exhibit 5A which seed mixes were applied in which areas.
9. Since CCC is implementing different seed mixes depending upon the slope and topsoil replacement
thickness, it is important to designate which seed mix was planted in which areas. Please have CCC
provide this information.
CCC needs to provide the requested information in order to fulfill the requirements of Rule 2.04.13. Rule
2.04.13(2) includes provision for addition monitoring information as required by the approved permit.
4
