A tract of land lying in the west half of the southeast quarter
(WhSEN), the northeast -quarter of the southwest quarter (NEkSWO
and ttie southwest quarter of the northeast quarter (-SWNNE -N) of-
Section 20, Township 33 South, Range 68 West, of the 6th P.M. as
established by the Maxwell Land Grant Co., Las Animas County,
Colorado, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a fence corner on the northerly right of way of
Colorado highway No. 12, which fence corner bears N 01.30' E 8.3
feet from an iron pin marking the south quarter corner of said
Section 20;
THENCE N 01'30' E along the west line of the SW#5EN of said Section
20, a distance of 1274.27 feet to a fence corner at the northwest
corner of said SWkSE';;
rHENCE N 89'51' W along the south line of the NEkSW4 of said
section 20 a distance of 1320.00 feet to an iron pin;
rHSNCE N 00.09' E along the west line of said NEhSWN a distance of
1331.58 feet to an iron pin on a fence line;

20, a distance of 1320.00 feet to a point, said point falling in

the south line of a 25.00 foot wide lane reserved by Colo. Fuel &
Iron Corp. Said fence line also being the north line of the
northeast quarter (NE#) of said Section 20;
THENCE S 88.42'30" E along a fence and the north line of the SANER
of said Section 20, a distance of 1366.82 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE S 00'42153" W along the east line of said SAM, a distance
of 1317.07 feet to a fence corner and iron pin, said fence corner
being the northeast corner of the WkSEh of said Section 20;
THENCE S 00`47'09" W along a fence being the east line of said
WNSEN a distance of 2612.08 feet to a fence corner on the north
line of Colorado Highway No. 12;
THENCE N 89.24'08" W along a fence on the north side of Colorado
Highway No. 12 a distance of 832.54 feet to the southeast corner
of that certain tract known as the Littrel Place and being the same
tract reserved to J. W. Shouse in the dead from the Maxwell Land
Grant Co. to Marion Russell dated October 13, 1899, and recorded
in Book 98 at Page 574 in records of the Las Animas County Clerk;
THENCE N 00.25'33" W along the east line of said Littrel Place, a
distance of 248.30 feet to an iron pin at a fence corner marking
the northeast corner.of said Littrel Place;
THENCE S 89'51150" W along the north line of said Littrel Place,
a distance of 230.61 feet to an iron pin and fence corner marking
the northwest corner of said Littrel Place;
THENCE S 00.28052" W along the west line of said Littrel Place a
distance of 245.28 feet to an iron -pin marking the southwest corner
Of said Littrel Place;
THENCE N 89'080'04" W along the north side of Colorado Highway No.
12 a distance of 287.33 feet to the point of Beginning.
