Exhibit C <br />Mining Plan: (a) Mining will commence upon approval and will continue for 10 years. Mining will <br />be seasonal, beginning in early May and ending in late October as weather conditions permit. Only hand <br />tools will be used. <br />(b) Top soils will be stock piled for reclamation where found. <br />(c)Overburden will be stockpiled separate from top soil. <br />(d)Deposit thickness will vary from one to thirty feet in depth. Since hand tools will be used, the <br />maximum depth will be ten to fifteen feet. <br />(e)Four to five areas of hand digging are expected.(see exhibit E ). <br />(f)The total mining disturbance will not exceed 9.9 acres with a maximum of 2 acres affected at <br />any one time. The work area around any excavations will be benched to accommodate overburden, <br />topsoil piles and be used as a safety barrier during digging activities. <br />(g)No roads will be created for the mining operations, an existing road will be used for mining <br />access (FR201). <br />(h)No water will be used during mining operations. <br />(I)No ground water or surface water will be disturbed during mining operations. <br />(j) N/A <br />(K) No toxic or acid forming materials should be encountered from this operation. If so, DRMS <br />will be contacted. <br />(1) After mining is completed, all excavations will be replaced, contoured and reclaimed to as <br />stable condition as pre- mining conditions. <br />(m) All minerals will be processed off site. <br />(n) The commodity to be mined are mineral specimens, including amazonite, smoky quartz, <br />fluorite and other related minerals. <br />(o) No explosives will be used on this operation. <br />
