The following inspection topics were identified as having Problems or Possible Violations. OPERATORS
SHOULD READ THE FOLLOWING PAGES CAREFULLY IN ORDER TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE
WITH THE TERMS OF THE PERMIT AND APPLICABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS. If a
Possible Violation is indicated, you will be notified under separate cover as to when the Mined Land
Reclamation Board will consider possible enforcement action.
INSPECTION TOPIC: Hydrologic Balance
PROBLEM /POSSIBLE VIOLATION: Problem: The dewatering activity at the site has caused disturbances to the
prevailing hydrologic balance of the surrounding area and to the quantity of water in the groundwater system.
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: The City must implement the approved mitigation plan for the site and must submit a
plan to provide a short-term solution of the problem within 15 days and implement the plan within 45 days of
the mailing date of this inspection report.
CORRECTIVE ACTION DUE DATE: 8/16/13 and 9/15/13
INSPECTION TOPIC: Hydrologic Balance
PROBLEM /POSSIBLE VIOLATION: Problem: The dewatering activity at the site has caused disturbances to the
prevailing hydrologic balance of the surrounding area and to the quantity of water in the groundwater system.
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: The City must implement the approved mitigation plan for the site and provide the
Division with a plan to provide a long -term solution of the problem within 60 days of the date of this inspection
report.
