The listed forbes and shrubs are shown to demonstrate species that can grow at this site. Since it is not <br />intended to cover the entire area with any of these species, there were no specific seeding rates stated. <br />On some projects, it is preferable to include some of these types of species, to provide breaks in the <br />grasses that can be used as cover for ground - dwelling fauna, and is food sources for flying insects. <br />Comment 10 Map Scale on Exhibit Map E -1A and incorrect scale of I"= 20' Scale on Map E -16 <br />Response: <br />A map scale (scale of 1" = 50') has been added to Map E -1A. Map E -113 was intended to be a <br />supplemental map that might be useful to DRMS in understanding the details of the permit area. Please <br />discard Map E -16 to be consistent with Rule 6.2.1(2)(e). Two copies of the revised Map E -1A are <br />attached. <br />Comment 11 Mineral rights vs. surface owners — Clarify ownership <br />Response: <br />An addition has been added to the explanation to clarify ownership on both Exhibits E- 1A and E -2. <br />Comment 12 Map E -1A has small labels, and Highway 67 and ore stockpile require labels <br />Response: <br />The labels on Map E -1A have been enlarged. Highway 67 has been labeled and the historic disturbance <br />within, and outside adjacent to, the permit area have been identified. As there has been no minable <br />quantities of sulfide ore yet found that can be mined, no stockpile location is appropriate or necessary. <br />In the event some is found and it will most likely be stored inside mine, making no outside stockpile <br />necessary.
