The listed forbes and shrubs are shown to demonstrate species that can grow at this site. Since it is not
intended to cover the entire area with any of these species, there were no specific seeding rates stated.
On some projects, it is preferable to include some of these types of species, to provide breaks in the
grasses that can be used as cover for ground - dwelling fauna, and is food sources for flying insects.
Comment 10 Map Scale on Exhibit Map E -1A and incorrect scale of I"= 20' Scale on Map E -16
Response:
A map scale (scale of 1" = 50') has been added to Map E -1A. Map E -113 was intended to be a
supplemental map that might be useful to DRMS in understanding the details of the permit area. Please
discard Map E -16 to be consistent with Rule 6.2.1(2)(e). Two copies of the revised Map E -1A are
attached.
Comment 11 Mineral rights vs. surface owners — Clarify ownership
Response:
An addition has been added to the explanation to clarify ownership on both Exhibits E- 1A and E -2.
Comment 12 Map E -1A has small labels, and Highway 67 and ore stockpile require labels
Response:
The labels on Map E -1A have been enlarged. Highway 67 has been labeled and the historic disturbance
within, and outside adjacent to, the permit area have been identified. As there has been no minable
quantities of sulfide ore yet found that can be mined, no stockpile location is appropriate or necessary.
In the event some is found and it will most likely be stored inside mine, making no outside stockpile
necessary. Thus, no stockpile area will be added to the map.
Comment 13 Please provide a reclamation plan map.
Response:
A reclamation plan map will be produced flowing completion of discussions with CDPHE
Comment 14a Explain why general storm water permit is not needed
Response:
W
