Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Keenesburg Mine conducted by Susan Burgmaier of DRMS. Danny Kipp of <br /> Coors Energy Company was present during the inspection. Weather conditions were clear and warm; ground <br /> conditions were dry. Ash disposal was underway in the B-Pit,in the lower lift of the northernmost portion of the <br /> pit. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> No fugitive dust was observed during the inspection. A light breeze was blowing at the time of the <br /> inspection,but ash in the B-Pit area was not being transported due to its moisture content. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05❑ Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The dugout pond and sediment pond were both dry. The B-Pit floor was also dry. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.0311 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.032(3)❑ Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.032(4)11 Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance4.03.1(5) and(6)/4.032(5)and(6)❑ Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.032(7): <br /> Roads and road ditches were dry and in good condition. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑ Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Portions of reclamation parcels 30,29,and 25 were walked. <br /> Parcel 30 was treated last fall with a pre-emergent herbicide to target cheatgrass.
