0,,-F,ENE)?9YFUELS
Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc.
225 Union Blvd. Suite 600
Lakewood, CO, US, 80228
303 - 974 -2140
www.energyfuels.com
table. We have set a standard naming convention now but the information produced in the past (e.g.
sampling results) contains the old names. We have added clarification in the Drilling Update portion of
the text noting the old and new names. We have also added the new names to the information presented
in the appendices.
5. In the WQ analyses, there are 2 for 12/10/12 (designated as Sunday 1 and Sunday 65), and 2 for
1/23/13 (called Sunday #2 and Sunday #2 65). Can you state which analysis refers to which monitoring
well? Also I think these need to be correctly and consistently named in future WQ analyses. When the
sample was collected at MW -SUN 1 it was labeled Sunday 1 and a second sample was taken
immediately after and labeled Sunday 65. This second sample was collected for QC purposes and will
be used to check the laboratory results. In the case of MW -SUN2, the first sample collected was labeled
Sunday #2. A second sample was taken immediately after and labeled Sunday #2 65. Normally QC
duplicates are not presented, or are called out differently, in a formalized results table but we have not
yet had a chance to review and prepare this information for reporting. In the future, the samples will be
labeled with their new names (MW-SUN 1, etc.) and DUP will follow the initial name in order to
identify the QC duplicate.
6. Also, I don't understand what is meant in your letter by the samples for Sunday 65 and Sunday #2 65
being "duplicates." As stated above, Duplicates refers to the second sample taken for QC purposes.
Once the full sampling program is up and running, all the wells will be sampled in the same time period
and a single QC duplicate will be collected to verify the laboratory results for the full batch of samples.
As far as the low flow pump method goes, we see no problem with it given the circumstances of slow
well recharge. If you could shed a little light on my questions above, our office can send a letter
formally confirming our approval of the proposed sampling program.
Thanks - Bob
Please let me know if you have any additional thoughts or comments.
Sincerely,
FIJI I I AI W-0`0&
MA I "M
MIN
Andrea Reither
Environmental Permitting Specialist
(303) 389 -4133
areithergenergyfuel s.com
Attachments
cc: D.
