4. Reclamation Timetable
The timetable for reclamation is shown below in Table E -2. Exhibit L: Reclamation Costs
describes the worst case bond scenario.
Table E -2 Reclamation Timetable
The timetable above is based on sales of 100,000 tons per year. The life would be greatly
reduced if this production increases in the future.
5. Reveaetation Plan
The final reclaimed use for the Hayden Gravel Pits is dryland pasture and hay meadows.
If the stockpile remains more than one growing season, it will be seeded with a fast growing
vegetative cover to prevent erosion. All topsoil will be retained on -site to reclaim the areas
disturbed by mining activities. Approximately 12 inches of topsoil will placed on the
appropriate areas during final reclamation.
Once mining operations are completed, areas for reclamation will be graded and shaped for
revegetation. Maximum reclaimed slopes will not exceed 3:1 to ensure slope stability. The
Camillettis currently harvests the previously reclaimed pit slopes and adjacent cropland. These
areas have been seeded with an alfalfa mix. Connell Resources, Inc. anticipates that the final
reclamation would also include seeding with an alfalfa mix per the request from the landowner.
Hayden Gravel Pit, May 2013 E -3
Production per
Length of time to
Year
Phase
Comments
year (tons)
complete (years)
2013
100,000
1
Complete mining in Camilletti area.
