110c Permit Application Second Adequacy Review
Dear Mr. Keller:
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the content of Pine
Bluffs Gravel & Excavating, Inc. 110c permit application adequacy response received on June 5,
2013 for the Harms Pit, File No. M- 2013 -018, and submits the following comments. The
Division is required to make an approval or denial decision no later than June 12, 2013
therefore; a response to the following adequacy review concerns should be submitted to the
Division as soon as possible.
The Applicant's responses to Questions #1 through #17 and #20 from the Division's May 30,
2013 letter were acceptable.
Exhibit D - Reclamation Plan (Rule 6.3.4)
1. The Division estimated the cost to reclaim the Harms Pit at $117,000.00, based on the
information provided in the application package and first adequacy response letter. A copy
of the Division's reclamation cost estimate is attached for review. Please contact the
Division to discuss or modify the estimate or acknowledge acceptance of the financial
warranty amount.
Exhibit E - Map (Rule 6.3.5)
2. As stated in the May 30th letter, the Mining Plan and Reclamation Plan maps submitted by
the Applicant do not conform to all or some of the required map criteria. Please review the
requirements of Rule 6.2.1 and revise the maps accordingly.
Rule 6.2.1 requires maps to conform to the following criteria:
a. Show the name of the Applicant
b. Must be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional
engineer, or other qualified person
c. Give date prepared
d. Identify and outline the area which corresponds with the application
