Addendum to the Collom Area Geology Pre - Feasibility Report <br />1.0 Introduction <br />Colowyo Coal Company (Colowyo) performed extensive geological <br />exploration throughout the Collom Mine Area since mid -2005. This report <br />presents a summary of geological exploration, geological modeling updates <br />and resource and reserve updates for the Collom Mine Area that occurred <br />since writing the "Collom Area Geology Pre - Feasibility Report ", August 2005. <br />This report summarizes additional geological data, changes made to the <br />geological models and revised resource and reserve estimates across the <br />Collom project area. Details regarding ownership and regional geology <br />reside in the report "Collom Area Geology Pre - Feasibility Report ", August <br />2005. <br />This report refers to the "Collom Area Geology Pre - Feasibility Report" as the <br />"August 2005 Report ". <br />Also Kennecott Energy Company (KEC) changed its name to Rio Tinto Energy <br />America (RTEA) in March 2006. Therefore, references to KEC or RTEA <br />represent the same company. <br />1.1 Collom Mine Area Location <br />The Collom Mine Area is located in southern Moffat County in northwestern <br />Colorado, see Figure 1.1. The Collom Mine Area resides approximately five <br />(5) miles west of current mining operations at Colowyo in townships T3N -T4N <br />and ranges R93W -R94W. <br />September 2006 Page 1 of 25 <br />
