The side -gable roof has a low slope and common rafter frame. It has 1 x 12 -inch board <br />sheathing that was originally covered with corrugated sheet metal. A hole was cut through the <br />boards for a stovepipe chimney that is no longer extant. Access and egress was through two simple <br />frame doorways. A single fixed sash window was noted. <br />The most common construction material consisted of 1 x 12 -inch boards. The majority of these were <br />6 ft in length, although some were cut shorter as needed. Wire nails were used throughout. <br />Provision for electricity was provided through a ceramic insulator attached to the exterior wall <br />beneath the roof peak. <br />47599 TRC Mariah Associates Inc. <br />
