'i •I I i I , <br />PO Box 609 <br />Pine Bluffs, WY 82082 <br />11) Please see updated Exhibit F that is enclosed with this letter showing our commitment to obtain a <br />Stormwater Management Plan permit from the Colorado Department of Public Health and <br />Environment. <br />12) Overburden will be replaced to a depth of 6 inches as recommended by the Division. <br />13) Reclaimed slopes will not be steeper than 3H:1 V as recommended by the Division. <br />14) Topsoil will be replaced to a depth of 6 inches as recommended by the Division during the <br />reclamation process. <br />15) We agree to spray any noxious weeds that are encountered during the mining or reclamation process. <br />To date, we are not aware of any noxious weeds within the proposed mining area. Our contact at the <br />Weld County Weed Division is Tina Booton (970) 304 -6496 x3770. <br />a. Target Species — Noxious weeds that may be found in the proposed mine according to the <br />Weld County Weed Division are Canada Thistle, Diffuse Knapweed and Bindweed. "Junk" <br />weeds that may be found are kochia, sunflower, bull thistle. <br />b. According to the Weld County Weed Division we will need to spray the above listed noxious <br />weeds in the spring or fall, before or during the roset stage with Milestone or Tordon and a <br />non -ionic surfactant. Milestone will need to be applied at 7 oz per acre. A licensed sprayer <br />would apply Tordon at 32 oz per acre. The 'Weld County Weed Division also recommends <br />adding 2 -4 -D if the weeds are very tall. Regular mowing would control any other "junk" <br />type weeds. <br />c. The on -site Gravel Pit manager would be responsible for monitoring growth of noxious and <br />junk weeds. He would then arrange for spraying or mowing of such weeds. <br />16) Recommended seed mixture in pounds per acre according to the NRCS — Will @ 970 - 356 -8097. <br />a. Switchgrass - .4 PLS /acre <br />b. Sideoats grama - .9 PLS /acre <br />c. Little bluestem - .7 PLS /acre <br />d. Green needlegrass — 1.0 PLS /acre <br />e.
