PO Box 609 Pine Bluffs, WY 82082 RE: Pine Bluffs Gravel & Excavating, Inc., Harms Pit, File No. M- 2013 -018 11 O Permit Application Dear Mr. Hays, Below are our responses to your letter dated May 30, 2013. 1) A copy of the Affadavit of Publication was mailed to your office via certified mail on May 30, 2013 2) A copy of the Affadavit of Mailing to Janyce Harms was mailed to your office via certified mail on May 30, 2013. This confirms that a copy of the Affadavit of Publication was mailed to Janyce Harms on May 30, 2013. A copy of the return receipt is enclosed. 3) We have reveiwed the letters from History Colorado and the Army Corps of Engineers. We acknowledge State Law CRS 24 -80 and agree to follow those laws in the event that human remains are found. We also acknowledge the letter from the Army Corps of Engineers that we will obtain any other applicable permits. 4) The updated map and Exhibit A enclosed. 5) The updated map and Exhibit A enclosed. 6) We will be considered an intermittent operation according to C.R.S. 34- 32.5- 103(11)(b). 7) Depth of soil used in the reclamation process will be 6 inches deep. 8) Topsoil will be stockpiled directly adjacent to and within the mined area. 9) The gravel operation will be considered a "dry" operation and maintain a minimum of two (2) feet above the groundwater elevation. 10) We will have a vertical highwall so backfilling will be required to get to the final 3H:I V grade. 215 Main St., Suite A LOCATIONS 114 S.
