Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the partial <br />release of coal exploration bond submitted by Cottonwood Land Company for Notice of Intent No. <br />X- 1998 - 219 -03. The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of alluvial groundwater <br />monitoring wells in Routt County. An inspection showed that all disturbances associated with two <br />abandoned wells have been adequately reclaimed. Based on the Division's estimate, $477.00 is <br />required to cover the cost to reclaim the remaining twelve monitoring wells. <br />The legal description for the wells being released is as follows: Sec.29 T5N R89W. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, to the Division at the address above within 30 days of the second publication of <br />this proposed decision in the Steamboat Pilot. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Elliott R.
