Weed management
began on a site -wide basis under this plan in the summer of 2001 and has continued
during the subsequent growing seasons. During the survey, the following eleven species
of noxious weeds were found growing on lands controlled by CC &V:
• Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense L.)
• Musk thistle (Carduus nutans L.)
• Dalmatian toadflax (Linaria dalmatica L.)
• Yellow toadflax (Linaria vulgaris L.)
• Oxeye daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum L.)
• Common mullein (Verbascum thapsus)
• Saltcedar (Tamarix ramosissima L.)
• Russian olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia L.)
This report summarizes Habitat Management's integrated pest management activities for
CC &V during the 2012 growing season.
2012 Noxious Weed Management Overview
Habitat Management is a licensed commercial pesticide applicator that performed weed
management activities at CC &V.
