The United States of America has, under <br />certain acts and authorizations retained specific surface and subsurface mineral estate rights of <br />which the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is tasked with managing such rights where <br />appropriate. Research of patents for the lands described in the permit has produced the <br />information you'll find below. <br />For the lands described in: T. 15 S., R. 96 W., Sec. 33, W1 /2SW1 /4 <br />The lands were patented to Joe W. Cook in 1956 under patent number 115865. The <br />United States conveyed surface and mineral rights to Mr. Cook and to his heirs, however, <br />the United States retained rights -of -way for ditches or canals constructed by the authority <br />of the United States and 100% of the oil & gas subsurface mineral estate. <br />For the lands described in: T. 15 S., R. 96 W., Sec. 32, E1 /2SE1 /4 <br />APR 0 3 2013 <br />TAKE PRIDE' <br />INAMER1CA <br />RECEIVED <br />14PR 0 2013 <br />DIVISION OF RECLAMATION <br />MINING AND SAFETY <br />The lands were patented to Hattie E. Smith in 1956 under patent number 1159284. The <br />United States conveyed surface and mineral rights to Mrs. Smith and her heirs, however <br />the United States retained any rights -of -way for ditches or canals constructed by the <br />authority of the United States and 100% of the oil & gas subsurface mineral estate. <br />
