Western Fuels - Colorado, U.C.
Permit Application # 94MO204
It should be noted that although exempted emission points may not need air emission permits, they still are required
to meet all applicable standards and regulations of the Air Quality Control Commission, including:
Visible emissions shall not exceed 20% opacity.
Emission of Sulfur Dioxide shall not exceed 0.8 pound per million BTU of heat input, as required
by Regulation No. b. Part B.II.D.2.a.
Please be advised that annual records of the consumption of Waste Oil shall be maintained by the applicant and
made available to the Division for inspection upon request.
Any changes with respect to the original submittal which would result in increases in either emissions or ambient
air impacts, or which would result in the emission of any pollutants not listed in the original submittal, automatically
nullifies this exemption. Before actually making any such change, you must apply to the Division for a new
exemption based on the anticipated change; if the new exemption is denied by the Division, you will have to obtain
a permit before implementing the change.
Sincerely,
V.N.
