Areas subject to motor vehicle <br /> traffic parking in all zone districts shall <br /> be subject to the following requirements: <br /> 41711 Safety Barricades. A rail, fence , or <br /> other continuous safety barricade or <br /> guard of a height or desiqn sufficient <br /> to retain vehicles within the parking <br /> area shall be provided except single <br /> family residences anu duplexes . <br /> 4. 712 For each boundary line of a parking <br /> area abutting directly on a <br /> residential lot behind any required <br /> landscaped area, a wall, fence, or - <br /> screen planting of a year round nature <br /> shall be installed at least 48" high <br /> to serve as a barrier for passage of <br /> persons and waste material , to conceal <br /> glare from headlights , and to reduce <br /> noise, fumes , and pavement heat . <br /> 4. 713 Wheel or bumper guards shall be <br /> located so that no part of any vehicle <br /> extends beyond the boundary lines of <br /> the parking area or comes in contact <br /> with walls , fences , plantings, or any <br /> other structures. <br /> IV-43 JANUARY 1980 <br />
