Item 9: Edit. Approved permit page 2.05 -3 text does not transition to approved page 2.05 -4.
Please revise the text to ensure all required information is included.
Item 10: Approved Page 2.05 -13 states that all facilities maintain a minimum buffer zone of 100
feet between the facilities disturbance limits and Little Grassy Creek. The Division understands
that in the location along Haul Road B at culvert 15A this area was previously approved through
the Seneca 11 Mine to be closer than 100 feet. Please provide proposed text discussing the
variance of the 100 feet buffer zone in the above mentioned location to be incorporated into
the permit.
Item 11: Edit. Approved permit page 2.05 -32 text does not transition to approved page 2.05 -33.
Please revise the text to ensure all required information is included.
Item 12: Edit. The text on approved page 2.05 -75 and 2.05 -76 is duplicated on approved page
2.05 -77.3. Please revise the text to ensure all required information is included.
Item 13: Pages 2.05 -70 estimates that 55 gpm of inflow is expected into the mine and page 2.05-
78 states that the long term flow from the spoils aquifer is expected to be less than 4 gpm. Based
on Minor Revision No.'s 11 and 15, mine dewatering wells were approved to remove spoil water
entering the mine. Please revise the above mentioned information if needed to reflect current
on the ground conditions.
Item 14: Page 2.05 -86 identifies 276 acres of disturbance or 8.8% and 1.48% of the Little
Grassy Creek and Grassy Creek drainage areas, respectively. Based on Minor Revision No. 13,
this information has been updated. Please revise the text to identify the updated information.
Item 15: Edit. The text at the bottom of page 2.05 -96 does not transition to the text on the top of
page 2.05 -97, which eliminates some permitted text. Please correct the missing text and pages
to reflect approved text.
Item 16: Edit. The text at the bottom of page 2.05 -100 is repeated on the top of page 2.05 -101.
Please correct the pages to reflect approved text.
Item 17: Page 2.05 -105 commits PSCM to report semi - annually the findings of all subsidence
monitoring once mining has been initiated. Please submit subsidence information to the
Division.
